With the big Apple Event scheduled for Jan. 27, all we can do is speculate, but one of the more believable rumors out there is that Apple will finally release their 4.0 OS software for the iPhone.
According to internet sources, Apple may use the event to introduce the next iPhone software which has not seen a major update since 3.0 was introduced last year. Rumor has it that the reason Apple has not released the update yet is because the update has been under lock and key due to the fact that it contains several references to the still-unanounced Apple Tablet (which is also expected to be launched at the Jan. 27 event).
