My Dad always told me "it's not what you have that matters, it's what you use ", i.e. you may be a smart,talented person but if you don't use it, so what. I think the same thing will apply to PAN. Potentially it could help the efficiency of many organizations, ultimately however it will most likely be used for much more trivial applications.
